Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026. Dockzio tools are built browser-local by default. This policy explains what stays on your device, what we may measure in aggregate, and how advertising could work later.

Browser-local processing

When a tool is marked Browser Local, processing runs in your browser. Your files are not sent to Dockzio for conversion, compression, merging, or similar utility work. You remain responsible for the content you choose to open locally.

No account required

You can open and use tools without creating an account. Optional feedback and newsletter features are separate from tool processing and only receive what you deliberately submit.

Local preferences

Favorites, recently used tools, and similar preferences may be stored in your browser (for example via localStorage). Clearing site data removes them. These preferences are not uploaded as part of Browser Local file processing.

Analytics

We may use aggregate product analytics (for example Google Analytics 4) to understand discovery, reliability, and which tools people open. Events are designed to avoid filenames, passwords, raw search queries, and file contents. Analytics are not a substitute for uploading your files — Browser Local tool workloads remain on-device.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies or storage may be used for basic site function. Analytics providers may set their own cookies when enabled in production. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Future advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their policies once ads are enabled.

Advertising (not enabled by default)

Dockzio may display third-party ads in the future. Ads are off until explicitly configured. When enabled, partners such as Google AdSense may collect data according to their privacy policies to deliver and measure ads. We will not enable ads without updating this policy if the practices described here change materially.

Contact & feedback submissions

If you submit a form on the Contact & Feedback page, we process the information you provide to respond and improve the product. Do not include sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sharing.

Children

Dockzio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Related: Terms of Service.
